Gambling Addiction Treatment Fife

Gambling addiction is an awful illness. It consumes you and eventually destroys you and your family's lives.

Hypnotherapy for Gambling Addiction really can work very well. I can never guarantee any treatment, of course, but I have had significant success so far. I have seen many sufferers, several of whose losses easily run into 6 figures, and of those who have completed treatment, so far, not one has carried on gambling.

I should add a disclaimer here because, unfortunately, it doesn't always help. Please don't expect a miracle cure: it's not going to happen. Even though I say this up front, some clients still expect me to "FIX" them in a single session - and then don't come back.

Help to Stop Gambling

There are so many different ways to gamble. Most addicts only get hooked by one. So, someone who loses money playing roulette can usually ignore horseracing.

The most common type of gambling I see is on the slot machines, both in pubs and casinos, and the on-line ones. These days they are simply computers that are designed to make you lose money. My most recent (ex) gambler became an expert at working even the most complex machines. The ones in the casinos are worse. They have cumulative jackpot prizes that randomly pay out, and the draw is designed to be almost irresistible to the addict. Having stopped even thinking about gambling, he started to get lots of offers of £100 free bets, etc., from the casinos and the on-line betting companies.

Gambling Addiction Treatment

As with all my treatments, I focus on the past - on reasons why you have become susceptible to gambling addiction. We all suffer knocks and upsets during our lives and we usually think that we've left these behind: we've "got over" them, or "They don't bother me anymore". There are, of course, exercises we do that are directed towards the act of gambling itself.

The trouble is, everything affects us every second of every day. So I help you deal with the underlying emotions. When these are out of the way, you feel much more positive and much more determined to stay away from the source of your gambling addiction.
